Family SUNdate At King Bee Chinese Resto

Sunday is usually a celebration for the whole family to be together. It is a great privilege that my own family had the chance to be with Aspa family which are my sister's in-laws. We had the chance to meet them and joined us on are regular Sunday Worship Service at GCF South Metro in Las Pinas. This is the first time that they attended the Christian service and they felt so welcomed and belong as family of God. I really hope that this is not the first and the last time they could join us in Sunday Worship Service.

Aspa Family

Right after the service, they planned to have lunch out-- Their mom wanted to eat Chinese cuisines. That's good! Because we don't need to go far for that. Along Daang Hari lies the KING BEE Chinese Restaurant! I honestly never been there though i usually seen it every time i drive going to Alabang and coming to my place. Me and hubby had planned to first try their food before bringing our kids but that was all ended as planned until such time came for him to he leave again. Anyway, this time, my kids, I and Aspa family would have been the first to try their food and we will just tell hubby on what the KING BEE cuisine tasted..hehe.

From the parking lot, the security guard with umbrella will meet you and give you shed with his umbrella on hand while assisting you until reach the entrance of the restaurant. Wow! That was really caring! Good service from the start! From that, I am expecting more good service inside. So, common let's get in!

I was expecting that it was a restaurant with usual table size and could have joined to make a long table for big numbers of guests. But see the picture? All tables are round and can fit 10 persons each just like in a hotel. We were 16 persons excluded the baby :) So we fitted for two round tables. We sat down and Grace (my sister's siter-in-law) made the ordering of foods. The waiter offered set menus for all of us that we have tried for lunch. What we ordered is the package of P7,500 and we just requested to split the menus for two tables. While waiting for the food, the waiter set our table and served tea for starter. I don't think that's perfect for a hot weather that time, so we won't able to finish a cup! Next on the table is the soup for appetizer. At first my little Nzo wouldn't like it, so he gave the soup bowl to me. I tasted it, and it was really good! When he saw i tasted it good, he grabbed back from me and tasted it again until he finished it and asking for one more! So i would say it really tastes good! :P

Soup

We were all hungry and waited for another minutes..i don't exactly remember how long is our waiting but it is considerable because we were pay to sit in a Fine Dining restaurant and not in a fast food chain.

The served Almond jelly dessert was good but too sweet which win the taste buds of my eldest son. He even asked me if i can make the same at home..LOL!

Oh! There's two more menus that weren't able to add on the photos because we did not take a shot of it. Their Lapu-Lapu with Shredded Mangoes with Thai Sauce. The combi tastes of sweetness of sauce with sourness of mangoes that me and my sister ate the full half serving. Half serving was served to other table :). We also have their house specialty of fried chicken but unfortunately i haven't tasted it because kids would quick get it first than the other menus.

It seems that no occasion to celebrate on that day but I considered it a "WELCOME" celebration.  Souls welcomed to Christ and welcomed also the one who threw out for lunch treat which just arrived from abroad. Thank You Zaldy and Eric!
